Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C3
 1968
ERTL
 1:18

The ERTL Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C3 is a diecast metal model featuring removable top. For collectors who demand a true 1:18 display, this model features a Scale Deviation of only 0%, making it a perfect match for other cars in your collection. Unfortunately, with a Height Deviation of 4% the model appears visibly taller than the original car. Simplified and strong details like window frames in relief contribute to a model that can be used as a toy.

Price history

How do you find this model?

Anonymous (17.01.2019)
The quality of recently manufactured models by e.g. Norev is amazing and raised standards in that mid-price market segment. If you get older models you easily get disappointed because of the lack of detail and the lack of workmanschip. I got the paleyellow C3 and the time I bought it I was very curious, if the model would be of better quality than the Corvette-model kits from Ertl amt. Frankly: no. This model is disappointing concerning quality and level of detail of 1:18 and actually it is worse than the 1:24 model-kits. The painwork has flaws, the front- and rear-bumpers look like brush-painted, the front bumper does not fit to the car´s front, the windshield does not fit to the bodyline, the rooftop panels do not fit to the rooftop outline and are furthermore a single piece, the antenna on the back has a diameter of 1mm. That is dubious quality made in China with new tools (as announced on the box). It is annoying to pay good money for such a small equivalent (and it is more annoying to see the price of the really good 1:18 AutoArt C3).
